Buzz Bomb

This is a piece from a 1996 one person show at the Richmond
Art Center, in Richmond California, entitled "Guernica Code". The
piece used a rotisserie motor to incline a wire that was strung with small
pieces of coat hanger. As the pieces slid along the wire, they generated sounds
that were amplified by the old reel-to-reel recorder at the bottom. A motion
sensor activates the piece when a viewer moves nearby.
